    Plant 3D Training

Greetings, Although it has been a few months, my P3D skills are "reasonable". My company is offering to sign me up for some training. Is there such a thing as Advanced P3D Training classes. If so, where and what do they entail (to judge if my reasonableness is sufficient?) Thank You -C

    Inter part relations

Greetings, We have made a recent switch over to Inventor from SW. I am finding it hard to be consistent and keep track of inter part relations. Any work flow and tool suggestions? I was also wondering what was the difference between creating a part and selecting certain parts with the “Make...

    Constant Curvature Summit

Ok So If I work from the tip to the mid it works fine! Yeah that was kind of very clever of me… Why is thickening corners always a failure? -TBUC

    Lock dimensions

I’ve actually started my Wild Fire Journey about 6 months ago, and know EXACLY what you mean. I still get very frustrated here and there but it does get better especially if you need surfacing done. Make sure the dimension is selected (left-click) it should become red, and then R-click.

    Variable Pitch

Greetings, I am trying to model a conical spring which is fallowing a spline profile ending almost tangent to the axis of rotation. The spring will be visible from above, as a result I would need the horizontal pitch to be constant. I have be using the variable pitch, but it seems that there...

    Cosmos Rotational Collision Simulation

I was I figured material constante would be our initial set up. As it turns out, for the first phase of this project we will need to place accelerometers in the helmet and evaluate the nature of the impact ( vector force + rotation ) I would surprised if it was but, would it be possible to...

    Cosmos Rotational Collision Simulation

Hi, I have been using both SolidWorks and WF4 to model static models. But i will need to perfoms some Stress analysis, more specifically i will need to model the stresses endured by a helmet during a: -full on collision -a rotational collision about the vertical axis -a rotational collision...
