Hi all,
Does anybody have an article by one J. Dutheil (French?) about the formulation to determine the buckling of circular rings (penstocks) subjected to inner void? I have the calculation method prescribed in this article but I can't understand some of the formulas, so I would like to know where do they come from.
I have other references for the stability of penstocks under external pressure (or inner void) like Timoshenko, Roark's or CECT but what I am really looking for is this particular article.
Has anybody even heard of this? Google has some references, but for steel frames.
