Actually on my DIY projects, I can never get enough tape on those things the first time.

At some risk of being cut down in flames:
Divers all know that as they go lower the pressure inside the water increases. Same thing if compressed air is added to the top of the container. Water being nearly incompressible only means that the volume it occupies does not change much.
turn on the flame throwers!
