Would it be acceptable to determine wind loads on gambrel roof building that is comprised of a 14/12 and a 3/12 pitch such that the 14/12 portion of the roof system is assumed to be vertical walls (Zones 1 and 4) and then the 3/12 pitch is considered to be the roof (Zones 2 and 3?) Or would it be more appropriate to look at the multiple pitches on the roof and determine the loads based upon (4) roof zones rather than just the normal two roof zones?
Thanks.
Thanks.
