Femap Carbon Composites

Hello,

For a project i am building a frame of Carbon tubes.
I want to test this frame with the program Femap.
Tho i cant get any good material properties of carbon fiber tubes.
My question is if any got carbon fiber in there material library and if can have that data? Currently am looking for as much data as possible.

Hello Sean,

Since carbon is a fibre, you only need the Youngs-modulus and tensile stenght. Then you have to define your layers in the layer set-up.
