Need help w/ Ultrasonic welding.

Hello. I apologize in advance if I’m not posting this in the correct section. I am in the process of starting a business that requires an Ultrasonic welder. Unfortunately this is not my area of expertise and I need assistance, however I have no idea where to go so I figured this would be a good start.

I have my mold ready, but I need to know the following and I am willing to pay for someone’s time to guid me through this.

1- what type on welder to I actually need. I’m looking to purchase pre-owned. I have a few in mind and just need to know if those will work for me.

2- what attachments do I need for my specific welding needs.

3- will someone that is not knowledgeable in Ultrasonic welding me able to operate the welder with a little training.

Hi,

Most welding equipment suppliers will have used stuff to sell.

You will need a 'concentrator' (aka 'horn') tailored for your specific requirements. Welder supplier can make you one.

Once set up a chimpanzee could operate one. (No offence intended).
