Overdriven Nails/Fasteners into roof sheathing 1

Anyone know where to find an alowable depth for overdriven nails into roof sheathing?

wale01 is steering you in the right direction. Based on a seminar I attendent recently the APA recommendations are:

If less than 20% of the fastners are overdirven by 1/8" or less then they can be ignored. If over 20% of the fasteners are overdriven by more than 1/8" then add one nail for every two that are overdriven.

APA can provide you with more information. One concern is possible splitting of the lumber that the plywood is attached to.

I glanced at the thread SlideRuleEra refered you to, so hopefully I am not repeating information in that thread. You definitely would want to read that thread because it contains a lot of useful information.
