Plating Iron onto Brass?

Hello!

I'm a bit new to electroplating, but I was looking for a solution that might allow me to plate iron (or possibly steel?) onto brass. It seems like I've found a solution for this in the past, but I can't remember where. On this forum, someone also mentioned having done this but couldn't recall the product that he used! Could anyone give some advice? Thanks very much in advance.

Hi Do you actually need steel or will another hard material do? Nickel is relatively hard and can be plated onto brass.
