Prefab balcony attachment to wood building

Hi all
I have some question about attaching prefab balcony (steel or aluminum) to wood building.
The balcony in question is 5' deep x 10' wide.
I have not done like this before and unsure about typical details. I am thinking of adding PSL columns at the end of balcony for the cable and ledger to connect. And for the lateral, I was thinking about just aligning a beam across other side and maybe add strap to the post to beam. But there are locations where it is next to stair opening and some next to truss running in some 30 deg angle (exterior wall is skewed). Is there a better way to handle this scenario?
Prefab manufacturer is not selected yet and so exact orientation of cable (and so the load) is not firmed up.

Thank you for reading my post! I appreciate your time.

Some plan view sketches and maybe a section or two would do wonders to help us understand the constraints and the framing scheme.

Also, make sure that there is a water proof envelope to insure that there can never be a wood rot failure. There has been a least two famous failures here on the West Coast in the past few years with fatalities. In each case, wood rot was the cause in my opinion. The water proof envelope is designed by the architect but the engineer will usually be called the culprit. You might ask for a certificate of special inspection in order to take this risk. We have actually done this on a deck over a garage on a town house project a number of years past.

Thanks for your responses, @oldrunner and @jayrod12!
@jayrod12 so sorry about my late response... I was on vacation without my laptop for 2 weeks (rare ones for me, but I really needed it!)
Here's the layout. The layout and framing are just rough at the moment. My big concern is I don't want to do something non-typical and also don't want to miss out transferring the loads property. A sample project, I could get hold of (from other company), did not show any means to transfer lateral loads.

I like the idea of a column at the outer corners of each balcony. Not sure where cables are required. The ledger would need to be properly attached to the wall. Some blocking may be required for, perhaps two or three joist spaces to tie the balcony into the floor system.

@ BAretired Thanks for your response! I was just referring to the cable/rod used to support the balcony; attached rough idea what I think architect would choose. These will be attached to the columns at some level and then going to reinforce at floor level against pull out.
