Sounds like a funny question but I can't seem to show (on a drawing) a part that is hidden in the model. Is there a way to do this?
Any help would be appreciated.

You have to Show the model before you can see it in the Drawing. Ray Reynolds

Or...

If you have it hidden in the assembly, you could still create a named view of just the part file, can't you? But then why would someone want a view of a prat that is hidden?

In a drawing, you can hide components that are shown, but you can't show components that are hidden in the parent assembly.

Try making a configuration in your assembly that shows the parts you want displayed, and use that in your drawing view. You can change the configuration that is shown in the drawing view properties. [bat]Gravity is a harsh mistress.[bat]

THE BEST APROACH TO THIS IS TO CREATE A SEPERATE CONFIGURATION IN THE ASSEMBLY AND SHOW THE HIDDEN PART

THEN YOU SHOULD REFERENCE THE CONFIGURATION IN THE DRAWING FILE
