Hi

For many of you this question might be trivial...but...

Can anyone simple explain me why solid elements (C3D8, C3d10, ect) don't have rotational degree of freedom?

The element formulation for solids does not consider rotational degrees of freedoms. Really you should go to a text book on the theory if you want an in depth answer!
