Hi all,
I have a new application where I have 2 pipe segments that are meant to interlock at their ends one inside the other. I need to align the 2 pipes relative to each other, with a separation distance of 5”-15”, do some prep work on the ends and then slide them together.
I am in need of a tool that I can clamp on to either pipe, which will align them (giving me at least limited access to each end) and then telescope inwards so I can slide the pipes together without losing the alignment or adjusting the clamps until the pipes are fully engaged. I’ve never heard of anything like this, but I would prefer not to have to design my own tool if someone is selling them off the shelf. If anyone knows if a tool like this exists and can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
