Tesla's four occupants survive an intentional plunge off a cliff off PCH near Santa Cruz Montara, CA, south of Pacifica. Car supposedly flipped a few times, so disaster avoided and no engineering failure occurred; pretty amazing

I saw that it was an evidence tow on the CHP dispatch notes so I assumed fatalities. I guess I'm glad to hear there was another reason. Terrible story.

P.S. Devil's Slide is approaching Pacifica but is quite far from Santa Cruz.

The reason for the evidence tow is that apparently it wasn't an accident. The driver purposely drove off the cliff...
