Unfold error 1

Greetings!

I don't have a huge amount of experience with SolidWorks, so the answer to this may be simple.

I'm attempting to convert an imported AutoCAD model (the top half of a .125 thick, aluminum kiosk). However, there's one radius that it just won't let me select (highlighted in red in the attached screenshot). It gives me the error:

"The edge/face selected for a bend is not on the same side as the fixed face."

Any help would be most appreciated! I've also attached the SolidWorks file.

If you have FeatureWorks, try using it, instead of the Convert To Sheet Metal tool.
In SW13, the feature recognition works well, except for one feature which has a sketch way outside the model.

Ah, yes, that does seem to recognize things nicely (beyond that one bit that I forgot to delete before exporting from AutoCAD).

After recognizing all the features, how would I go about unfolding it? It seems that after you do that you can no longer carry out sheet metal functions.

I'm thinking that maybe the issue with that area is that it's bent in the opposite direction to the rest of the bends...perhaps?

Do you have 3 bodies after Feature Recognition?

Just select the body and use the Flatten tool.

Huh, I must not have been running the feature recognition properly, because it came a lot closer this time!

Two issues:

a - Why does it invert the curves on that middle opening, turning them into bulges?
b - It doesn't seem to want to unfold the side panels

I don't know. I missed that it had done that. I just used the auto function. The manual recognition may give better results.
Could be a glitch, so maybe submit to your VAR.

b - It doesn't seem to want to unfold the side panels

The side panels are separate bodies (expand the FM Cut List folder), and are already flat.

For posterity, I solved the problem of the inverted hole curves by turning off the "Recognize holes as wizard holes" option.

On second thought, I still am a bit confused about how to view the side panels after I convert it to sheet metal (which works just fine, now).
