Y14.5.1 Public Review Draft - Does anybody have a digital copy that they can send my way? I heard on here that it was a free draft when it was released, and I'd like to prepare for the upcoming release.

Thanks in advance.

I think ASME delivered to requesters only paper copies for the draft (no digital copies). Maybe someone scanned it, but the paper book has an ugly DRAFT (in black) watermark on each page obscuring some of the wording....

greenimi, that is what I heard from the thread that I linked. I was hoping that somebody on here did scan it for one reason or another, but maybe they wouldn't if the watermark is as bad as it sounds.

Free is up to the publisher to those who requested it from the publisher. That's their right. They don't lose the right.
Example - TV is broadcast for free, but every program retains copyright; you cannot tape the show and legally send copies to all your friends. The chances in either case of going to court over it is small; it doesn't mean it's correct to do so - especially not to seek such copies here.

3DDave - That makes sense. I'll have to wait for the official release. Thanks.
