Resizing a Design Table Inserted in a Drawing

Echoshill That is how the design table works. What you see in the table in the part is what will show up in the drawing. Just remember to use Crtl Q to refresh the table. Once in a while I have had to delete the table from the drawing and reinsert it to update correctly.

    Solidworks 2008 Viewer Error

We use edrawings for our viewer. It has eleminated some of the issues we ran into with the regular viewer it works much better imo. Also with edrawings we did not have to update all of the operating systems on computers that were not used for SolidWorks.

We let people use it at home but there has been a couple times that they have left the company and not uninstalled the software at home. Give this some thought on how you will handle this.

    Solidworks 2008 hardware

Kensai, Measure your 21" crt and I think you will find that the viewing area is between 19 and 20". With this in mind unless you are looking for more viewing area you could get about the same area with the 19' to 20' LCD screen. Viewing area for a crt is measured diffrent than an lcd screen

    2007 Solidworks is SLOW?

Just a side note about PDM Works. If they have not releised the sp4.1 yet you need to read the notification on sp4 for pdmworks before installing it.

    Computer turns off without warning

I agree with kcarpenter about the power supply. Make sure that the power opptions are set to standby never, and hibernation never.

Anyone running with an AMD FX-74

pdybeck, Only one of the listed motherboards will take the 64 FX-7X procesors, the other motherboards are socket AM2 boards so you would need to pick the ASUS with the L1 cpu sockets.

Anyone running with an AMD FX-74

pdybeck, Looks like that processor is still real new. From the AMD sight they only listed one motherboard for that processor as of now.
