    I can hover over the icon to the left of each field and it will give me a description of it. I can't say for sure that there's not another way, but that is the only one that I know of.

    You can change the scale of the dimensions of in the drawing by going to: Format/Dimension Style/Fit/Dimension Scale See if that does the trick.

    I installed a 2018 version last week on a personal computer and haven't had any problems with it running. Of course, after installation I did the registry edit to get rid of the activation message.

    Aligning viewport contents.

    Maybe I'm missing something and you are already doing this, but you can just double click inside the viewport box to adjust the size and position of the model in relation to the viewport itself. The actual commands are "modelmode" and "sheetmode" if you prefer to type them out or if you get stuck.
