    Bolt head marking

Did you look at a manufacturer's identification table? Here's one, but I didn't see it in there giving it a quick glance over. http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/tac/fqa/active.pdf Here's another larger list, but you have to pay for it: http://www.indfast.org/book_details.php?prod_num=REF-0001

    Large stroke 100+ Ton cylinders?

You know, I've looked at their site a lot and use their pumps/cylinders all the time and some how missed that. Thanks.

    Large stroke 100+ Ton cylinders?

I'm trying to find a manufacturer who deals with long stroke (36+ inches) cylinders that are in the 100 Ton and above range. Any leads? Everything I find seems to top out around 6 or 12". I'm also looking for Dual Acting. -Thomas

    Grade 8 Bolt Marking Symbol

Any suggestions on finding reliable vendors? Like I mentioned earlier, I don't deal with these types of bolts at work but I do use them for personal use (this particular bolt is an aftermarket suspension part). I'd like to find a good vendor to use, and price isn't really too much of an issue...

    Grade 8 Bolt Marking Symbol

mayt4u, No, it doesn't matter at all since it's only a manufacturing identifier (but I didn't know that, so that's why I started the thread). I work on products that don't require graded bolts, so I've never run across this before. I was assuming that any grade 8 bolt would be fine, but since...

    Grade 8 Bolt Marking Symbol

Yep, that's it. Thanks. Do you mind telling me how you found that, or were you familar with the brand?

    Grade 8 Bolt Marking Symbol

I have a bolt that is now damaged and needs replacement. The bolt has the normal 6 lines indicating it is a SAE Grade 8 bolt, but also has a small triangle between two of the lines. I don't recognize this marking and can't find any references stating its meaning. What does this triangle mean...

    Small relief valve vendors?

Eltron: We've worked with them in the past to work with this, and they can do it in a .281 size but can't exceed 100psi in the .187 size. Which is why I'm trying to find a different vendor who might have something that works already.

    Small relief valve vendors?

Sure, here is the link to them http://www.theleeco.com/VALVWEB2.NSF/1c4342c9ada019ae852567de00763051/60fe81e782f888a385256842007b9b32?OpenDocument I'll try to clear up how its used in this application. We have a volume that has only one input to be filled and a fairly complex shape and this...

    Small relief valve vendors?

Could you point me at a model from Swagelok or Parker? They all seem to be much larger than the Lee Co. valve. I don't think I made it very clear in the first post, but this is a .187" diameter by .500" long, so its very small compared to standard relief valves.

    Small relief valve vendors?

We are using it in oil, and it doesn't reseal at any pressure or amount of time. We pull a vacum against the seal in the oil filling process and the valve leaks in this situation.

    Small relief valve vendors?

In our application, it does not seal after it is cracked and 100 psi is the maximum they can make in the .187 size.

    Small relief valve vendors?

I'm trying to find a relief valve around the .187 diameter sizing. I currently use a Lee Co. valve, but it doesn't function very well at the moment. I'm looking for at least 200 psi cracking pressure. Thanks, Thomas
