I have a part with 3 slots of the same size. When dim. per the standard I can do 3x W X L X depth but then I have to add a second note to the slot 2X R (which means rull radius slot). Per the standard this note does NOT need a radius dimension.(y14.5 sec 4.5.4)
So the question come in about the qty of slots. The slot dimension give how many slotted holes I have (3X) but now do the rnd? is it (6X R)? instead of (2X R) on the rounds? or Do I have to put (2X R) on every slot? Or can I just do (2X R) on the one dimensioned slot?

SEction 4.5.4
"Features having rounded ends, including slotted holes, should be dimensioned using one of the methods shown in fisgure 4-27. For fully rounded ends, the radii are indicated but not dimensioned."

The coward's way out is to create a detailed view of the slot with 2X R and the other dimensions and tolerances/FCFs and indicate it is 3 PLACES under the detail identifier.

OTOH, 3X on the rest of the dimensions and 6X R should be obvious enough.

Please look at Fig.10-35(2018 version), 6X R will be the right choice.
