New start material strenght calculation for operating horn from crashed plane. Part 2 4

Can anyone help me check if this calculation works so far?
There are so many conversions between different units ..
The calculation is made by a free software but I assume that their calculation models are correct.

My own assumption is that the elevator is heavier at the front edge as there are hinges made of MIL 1430 N and since the lever and its attachment also are , there are also steel details on the other side and the rest is aluminum.
I have chosen to see it as a simple bar to begin with.

And the calculation is made to check which load the fixed joint must withstand for the elevator's own weight.

I intend to present it in steps so if I got something wrong I can adjust it before the next step.

Well according to the crash investigation report when they looked at the plane pitot tube heat was OFF.

You've err certainly been around Alistair...

To be honest in sweden the cultural thing means mums are mums. The royal family have a place in Mora. I had a 9 year old kid on board to Sveg unaccompanied minor. Who didn't speak English. Shall we just say that the crown princess took charge and dealt with the child for me as captain which I am utterly grateful for. Ana won't be surprised ,its just normal for a Swedish mum to step up and deal with things. Nothing needs to be said publicly after the flight because a swedish mum looked after after a swedish child end of story...

but there's no sure way of knowing which bursts are actually echoes as opposed to bits of noise and which echo came from which target.
Yes I have understod as much..

Before speculating about whether these could be echoes from two different parts of the aircraft, take a closer look at the echoes that make up that orange track. Notice how there aren't any. The computer has drawn a straight line between an earlier echo somewhere off the bottom right of the diagram and the first of the three echoes you're interested in.
Yes I have seen that erlier.
I wasn't user if the line, as you have explained now, was just a connection line and the only hits are the dots..

Neil Oliver he is a Scottish television presenter, freelance archaeologist .. and so on..
There are a lot of programs with him in Swedish television.
You can really hear that he comes from Scottland when he is talking, No British English there..
I came to think of him, when you use such slang words, not so much because he does it, but it does not translate in the regular dictionary, Isn't sure where they all come from.

This is completely normal in Sweden, for a mother to take charge of a child in Sweden that's distressed. It such a none event its unbelievable. Be the person a grandma or the crown princess. It really is such a none event just get a bloody grip..

Its why I love the country. A child travelling to her grandma in sveg is dealt with....

I would never put a kid in a car in the UK with two male crew. In Sweden we would load her up take her to MacDonald's and then when we delivered her home we would be fed and stuck in the sauna and get the money for her Mac'D's. Mind your own F'ing business this a none story.

The fact that SHK say the three interesting echoes came at the same time as the Secondary radar put the aircraft at 3000m
Well that is a bit fuzzy as there is no secondary radar reading att 3000 m..

suggests that the previous data points (all off the bottom of the screen) had led the processor to infer an orange target that was moving a good bit slower than the aircraft was, meaning that when it was hoping to find something in the bit of the sky where the trail of three echoes begins, the aircraft had already passed by 35 seconds previously. One possibility is that those three echoes came from something else that was moving southwestward, whose echoes the radar processor had suppressed until they happened to pass through the place where the radar was expecting to find a target.
In order for these hits to be connected, must they be at about the same height as well?
Or at the same height as the plane was?


If you knew where the antenna sidelobes were and where the antenna was sited

they tend not to be fussy about those details. Ask and you might be surprised.

I am surprised and a bit unimpressed that the pitot heater was not on...

According to the instructions, it should only be switched on under ice conditions, freezing rain, etc., or if you see ice forming on the plane during flight.
And I have talked to both the CP and SHK and questioned why they do not have it turned on all the time, especially if the air temperature is on the minus side up there and it is such short flights.
And I got the same answer from both, that then maybe you have to replace it because you burn the sensors or something ?!?! and ... none of them seem to think it was a problem ... sigh

I'm afraid I am not an expert in that field as I do not have any children of my own, but my sister has two.
But I have look after them two, when I had the horse not so far from where they lived.
All the children in the neighborhood called me aunt Anna, do not really think they understood that aunt was not part of the name
So of course you got to look after all the kids, so that nothing happened to them and put on patches and so if needed.
But in my own upbringing it was also so.
We always swam in the sea temp. +6 from midsummer all summer 3 -4 times a day , and we went allone seens we where 5-6 years, but there were 3 ladies who had cabins down there, and they always looked after us.

it will never be completely proven to criminal evidence requirements but that's not what the primary goal of an aviation accident investigation.

The primary goal is to limit if not stop a recurrence of a fatal even t with the same cause.

As for the kids stuff we are talking the same stuff. No kid in Sweden is going to be left in distress or requiring any input be it the crown princess or you (or for that matter me) anywhere near by. It just not the done thing socially and long may it continue. I am 100% sure the crown princess as Swedish lady would have absolutely zero differences of opinion with your self on the subject or her manner of dealing with it. The child always comes first in Scandi land. And long may it continue.

My interactions with her were professional and she was a lovely person. I treat people how I want treated myself and that lady I have zero issues naming a her a lady. Her status as member of the Swedish royal family is to be honest immaterial to the way I have or will conduct myself in her presence.
