    Velocity Through Check Valve

    Thanks for your replies so far, they have been most helpfu. Can anyone advise how I can calculate the deccelartion rate on a 500NB check valve and a line velocity of 4.6m/s of seawater. Is there an industry accepted empirical formula to calculate this ? Cheers Peter

    Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

    Just press "Print Screen" and then open Paint and then paste in the screen shot. You can then use paint to clip out the toolbars, menue's etc and save to a file. Open Powerpoint and insert the file. Done.

    Hi I would like to know what standard bolt or screw size is associated with a 5/8" or 3/4" ring spanner. ie. 5/8" ring spanner fits on nut(standard nut)what size would the bolt be. I dont want to go back to site to measure it. I know it is not a 5/8 bolt. Peter
