Wow.... ok I will shut up now....
Bubblehead Squared!
P.S. Brian2903 sorry if I lead you astray.... these guys are WAY outta my league. I am still semi noob league.
Good job guys.... maybe I will learn something visiting this site!
You need to give more information.
Is this a residential application? This is what you need to know. TOTAL static pressure which is the return static pressure PLUS the supply static pressure. With that value you can go to the manufacturers specs to find out the CFM for the given fan speed...
We had a promo from "Water Furnace" in our wharehouse. It was a cardboard copy of a selfcontained Water Furnace unit. It was maybe 6 inches long and 4 inches square, It had the blower assembly and compressing section printed on it.
Anyways.... on the out side it makes the claim....
"The worlds...
We didnt get to train on shoring on subs, if you get a hole in the boat... your only chance is compartment pressurization or forget it. LOL
I always liked the DC plugs! LMAO

oops... should have been 13SEER law..... sorry.
Yes mint your right. But I was thinking still packaged like we keep ours. and our shop/wharehouse is climate controlled. cept the bpss doesnt like to turn up the heat until we all leave for our service work. LOL Or turn down the AC during the heat...
Are they still in their boxes?
I would think not. as long as they are stored well. Keep them dust free. and dont allow them to get dinged up.
When the new 12 seer law came into effect, we had bought 120 new heat pumps and as of now still have about 20 or so left of various sizes..

Wow... Stoichyometry? Some people have way to much time on their hands! LOL
I loved balancing equtions in chemistry clas and advanced chemistry way way back in High School.
But to see fractions instead of whole numbers just blew my mind. Do engineers really sit back and do all these...
Is that school stuff? Sheesh... Guess I should go to school!
At least I understood the pyschometric stuff.... but the mechanical guru thing? HHmmmmm just thinking pyschometric made my head hurt more....
Bubbly one :)
I dont see why. I just know down south here they have code for ventilation of mechanical rooms. The 2 refrigerants shouldnt be a problem as long as the room ventilation is ok.
(you know flammability stuff and ability to support life stuff)
HHmmmm make that commercial mechanical rooms. I dont...
Yeah I have heard ofr Tranes 400 rule of thumb but have heard more lately of 350 per ton from most others. when doing static measurements and looking up the total for CFM we use the pubs for proper airflow and adjust the blower speed accordingly. granted with some of the HvAC jobs out there your...
6 degrees delta T wont cut it. any system I have worked on says to much air flow or undercharged at 6 degrees delta T.
The systems we use are min 14 degrees delta T geothermal abd 15 Delta T Heatpump/AC. I would be leary of a 6 degree differential requirement.

The aircraft style nut is a Nylok (sp? or Nylock)which uses a nylon compound if I am correct. It is used to ensure a nut stays tight. We used Nylok nuts a lot on submarine subsafe equipment.

Outer Banks of North Carolina. I see Seismic companies dont require relocating. well most? Anyways.... I was in the Submarine Service and have an electronics background. Because of that, is how I got into HVAC. There is no technology here.... mostly resort area, so I had to get into what ever...
Wow... sounds like a electric meter will be spinning round and round. Why not go geothermal and run the loop pipes through the floor? C;osed loops run approx 80-90 degrees. plus if you use traditional ducting the heat punp sectonwoukd nake that total system really efficient. Supposedly Water...
ICM rep? Is it a variable speed motor? I know I have heard of some bad GE variable speed motor problems, but I dont know if any were condensing fan motors. I do know they were for evaporators. Also the GE version is suppose to be more expensive.
